a handsome boy

This is my knight-in-shining-armor. His knight-name is Sir Tallihad, but when he is off-duty we just call him Talon.

When we went to register his sister for 1st grade (1ST GRADE!) and stopped to learn about the after-school programs, he went into panic mode. He started whining, hyper-ventilating, and almost crying. I asked what was wrong and he said "I'll never see Kaila!" All day school plus after school programs are more than he thinks appropriate. He's so cute and sweet.

Another funny kid story: We were driving home from the gym and it was so hot. I told the kids they could have popsicles when we got home. That made them happy and they asked if they could have "combat bars". I'm thinking wow, that sounds intense, I have no idea what they are talking about. I asked for clarification and finally figured out they meant Klondike Bars. :D
