Our big adventure

Yesterday the kids and I drove up to Payson Lakes for a picnic and some hiking. It wasn't REALLY hiking as we only walked around the lake on the paved trail. It was perfect though. The air smelled so nice up there. We fed our bread crust (and Kaila's fruit by the foot) to the bravest pot-guts I've ever seen. They came so close to us. The kids loved it. We also saw a few deer.

On the way home Talon said "that was a HUGE adventure!". He is so cute.

I really want to go camping there this summer. I used to go with my grandparents when I was little. It was my favorite place to camp. That was where we learned my grandma's dirty little secret. My grandpa informed us that when she was little she got tired of her little sisters following her around and bothering her. One day when they asked her to play she said "only if you will suck on my toes". If you know my grandma that is so out of character for her. We all laughed and teased her for a long time about that one.
