Yesterday we had such a fun day with our family or four. I didn't take any pictures because we didn't actually have big plans; the day just turned out really awesome!
While K was at school, T and I made cookies. After eating a good portion of the cookies and waiting for K to come home, we took some to my cute little grandma. I LOVE hearing stories about when she was growing up and somehow she came up with a few new ones for me. My favorite one happened when she was about 16. Gone with the Wind was very popular then. She and her little sister decided to hitch hike from Payson to Springville to see the matinee. She told me hitch-hiking wasn't so bad back then :) oh Granny, *sigh*. Luckily they made it there and back safely.
After our nice chat, the kids and I took cookies to my mom's house for her, my step-dad, and step-brother. The S.B. is now living with them and I'm very excited for him! He starts his new school today! The four of us played hide and seek. They made me be the seeker. I only lasted two rounds and if you have seen my mom's surrounding yard you'll know why! It's huge with TONS of stuff to hide in and under and behind. YIKES. I was a bit of a cheater though. After I found the first kid, I made him/her go find the others with me (and they knew exactly where go so that's why it was cheating).
When we returned to Provo, we picked up Chris and went to see
Alice in Wonderland
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Disney movie and the books. Now I love Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland too! Alice's dresses were so perfect. I wish I could wear something like that and get away with it. Stupid Rotten Tomatoes only has it at 52%. I really hate that website... ANYWAY, we all loved it and after the movie we walked over to Five Guys. It was good, but not great. Not great like Burger Supreme's green chili burger or Barry's Drive In in Spanish Fork. Their fries were not AMAZING, like I had heard. Red Robins fries with their special fry sauce, that you have to specifically ask for, are the best in my opinion. Sorry about the food review... just slipped out. When we got home the kids went (almost) right to bed and I went my favorite class at the gym. It was a great day.

glad that you had fun! I liked Alice too even though it didn't get such great reviews. I too want Alice's dresses, my favorite one was the one when she was really tiny :)
