Copy-cat crafter

When I told my friend I call myself the copy-cat crafter, she said most of us crafters are copy-cat crafters anyway and that it's OK. Here is what I made with my crafty little friends:

We were planning to make letters for our kid's rooms, but Robert's was out of K's and T's. I made letters for my hubby and me. His turned out very bold, so I tried to add flowers to mine to make it extra feminine and to help it stand out a little more. They are a little hard to see. This project is probably only halfway finished. I want to make matching letters for my kids, add big black satin ribbons, then tie them all up to a black shelf or something.

My crafty friend Laura fell in love with this idea. These are valentine gifts made from Bath and Body Works soap. We copy-catted it from here.

My inspiration for this craft came from a very cute candle I saw in an awesome boutique. The candle was $26 and I thought "WHAT!? I could make that so easily!" Mine is quite different but I really like it. Now that I have played around with it a little I can make a variety of candle holders :) I only spent about $4 for the supplies. I started out with a plain, glass, candle holder from the dollar store.
